Hello, I'm Ibtahaj Hashmi, an expert accountant and the founder of IH Chartered Professional Accountants Professional Corporation. My goal is to make it easier for business leaders to achieve clarity, compliance, and control in their finances. By combining technical expertise and hands-on care, I guide clients through every stage of financial management. Success for me means seeing our partners grow confidently with peace of mind.
With over 20 years in accounting, I specialize in helping service businesses manage complex financial and regulatory requirements. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, I’ve led teams in financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and integrated accounting systems across multiple sectors. My expertise includes governance frameworks and internal controls that help mid-sized organizations thrive and achieve audit readiness.
Also with over 17 years of international experience across Canada/US, UK, UAE, and Pakistan, Ibtahaj brings expertise in Finance, Audit, Compliance, Governance, and Risk from leading roles in the Government Sector, Healthcare Licensing Authority, and Big 4 firms including KPMG, EY, and Moores Rowland, I am the founder of the healthtech startup Medortal, bridging finance and innovation in healthcare. I graduated from the University of Oxford’s Finance and Corporate Governance Program, and an active member of the Oxford Business Alumni Network.
